Education
Tiered Pricing
Sometimes known as "Bundled or Bucket Pricing". 3 Rates will usually reduce costs from one rate, but still aren't as low as they could be due to the sheer number of card types and interchange categories.
Flat / One Rate
Having one rate makes budgeting much easier, but tends to cost the most depending on your average sale amount.
Cost Plus (Pass Thru)
Rates are tougher to anticipate and will vary depending on card types, but this is almost always the most cost effective pricing model.
